Nelson Center Ice Skating Party!
Why not free up your planning time and let the Springfield Park District make your rental or birthday party a success! We can organize your birthday party including food, tear down, and birthday party products for your guests. When you book your next Ice Skating birthday party at the Nelson Center, you will not only have access to the ice to skate and enjoy listening to music, but you will also have access to our Birthday Party room or Lobby area. The Birthday Party room or Lobby area can be used for any small rental, class or meeting, and seat up to 25 people comfortably.
Rentals begin at an hourly block of time and additional time can be added by the hour. See the fees listed for Resident and Non-Resident to find your rental price point. A deposit fee is required when reserving the Franklin Room. Patrons who wish to use this room can bring in a cake or cupcakes. All other food items must go through our concession stands. Access to additional amenities are available with the purchase of a daily admission pass.

Nelson Center Ice Skating Birthday Party Days, Times and Cost
Winter Season: Monday-Friday 12:00pm-1:30pm, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm and
3:00pm-5:00pm, Sunday 2:00pm-4:00pm
Summer Season: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11:30am-1:30pm and Friday evening from 7:00pm-9:00pm, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm, 3:00pm-5:00pm, Sunday 2:00pm-4:00pm
Cost
- Gold Party: $12 Resident and $14 Non-Resident (per skater)
- Silver Party: $10 Resident and $12 Non-Resident (per skater)
