Life is Like a Box of….

grandma_grandsonI love when our readers allow us to share some of their photos with us.  There are certain pictures that just make you stand still in time, where you can feel the emotion portrayed in the photograph. Many thanks to longtime SpMoms reader Amy F. for sharing this beautiful moment.  This photo of a teenage grandson sharing a quiet moment and box of chocolates with his grandmother really hit home with me as I was scrolling through my facebook newsfeed.

I feel like I’m in the room with them and listening in on their conversation.  “Which one is your favorite grandma?  Do you think this one has caramel inside?” ….”I don’t know honey, let’s try this one.  How are things going at school?”  It’s life; preserved forever in one snapshot.

Send us your favorite shots that tell those stories we all hold close.  Enjoy the free video tutorials for our readers from Schultz Photo School.  Kyle Shultz offers a fresh way to give us the tips that will make our photos three times betters in three minutes.  It’s well worth your time to sign up and review his video tips!

Thanks for sharing Kim. That just brings tears to my eyes. His grandma is on hospice and I cant tell you how much you captured in writing exactly what was being said in that tiny care givers room. Blessings. Amy
