Our Learn to Skate Academy is a six class program. Participants are taught a step-by-step progression of skills which develop the student’s techniques in an enjoyable and social atmosphere. Beginners start in Snowplow 1 or Basic 1 depending upon their age. Beginning skaters do not need expensive equipment. In most cases you can start by using skates from our rink or by borrowing a pair from a friend. Be sure to dress in warm & comfortable clothing. As you learn more, you will likely want to invest in your own skates and equipment. Students must receive a passing grade within their skill level in order to advance. Enrollment numbers are limited.
