Get ready for Santa Claus at the Kerasotes YMCA! The event will have Christmas cookie decorating, hot chocolate, and pictures from 3-4 with Santa then from 4-5 children will get the chance to swim with Santa! Children under the age of 8 (7 and younger) will need to have a parent in the water with them unless they can pass the YMCA of Springfield’s deep water swim test. Children who have not passed the swim test and who cannot stand flat-footed in 3.5 feet of water with their armpit line being above the water line must also wear a US Coast Guard approved flotation device.
