Escaped slaves traveling on the Underground Railroad used a variety of different natural tools to aid in reaching freedom. They utilized holistic medicine, used the stars to guide their way, and found natural ways of disguising themselves and their paths. During this workshop students will get a chance to learn about these tools and how they were used to help 100,000 slaves survive the Underground Railroad.
