We enjoyed President’s Day with a quick day trip to St. Louis to check out the new St. Louis Aquarium in Union Station. It’s a very hands-on, get your hands wet and offers a great variety of fish, sting rays, sharks, river otters, jellyfish and seahorses! Admission tickets are timed which keeps the flow of people manageable and allows you to get up close to the tanks, even on a busy holiday.
There’s a lot more to do at Union Station once you are done with the aquarium! The ropes course looks like a blast, but we didn’t have time to check it out. You can also head over to the Ferris Wheel and mini-golf or enjoy a free fire show in the outdoor entertainment plaza. Of course, there are many options to eat, the soda fountain or landry’s seafood house to name a few!
