Balloons Bring the Party Flair

You’ve seen the pictures and the hot new party decor trends for a variety of special occasions! Learn from Cheryl and Charlee on how Designed with Detail came to be almost 3 years ago.

Just two friends who had the same love for party planning and decor. With 3 kids between us, and several friends’ bridal & baby showers happening, it seemed as if we were constantly planning a party, so why not turn this hobby into a little business and see how it goes?! We used to say if we had 2-3 events a month, we would be thrilled. 

Fast forward to 2020, and Covid happened. We thought that was it. However, one little balloon garland we did for a friend’s baby shower turned our business into something so much more. Drive-by party parties became popular, and luckily, people liked the idea of having a fun balloon garland on their porch to help it feel more like a party! It started with a few local jobs, and now we have events all over Central Illinois, and an average of 8-10 events a week! While we still offer full party planning, and custom decor, balloon garlands of all sizes and shapes, jumbo, personalized balloons, and custom mosaics have become our main focus.

It has been such a crazy ride, but we are enjoying every minute of it. We love seeing a client’s expression after we are done with an install, we love the early morning surprise garlands for birthdays, and we love creating things that are so full of joy! Whether you have a small, intimate gathering, a huge, outdoor bash, or a corporate event, we want to help you celebrate those special moments. We are so grateful for all of our clients and promise that each and every event that we are lucky enough to be a part of is “Designed with Detail”.
