"Kids Eat Free Guide" For Area Restaurants

No one wants to sit at home every night, and we all love to come home to a clean kitchen!  Here is a list of places in town that make eating out easier … and more affordable.  NEW: Organized by day of the week.  Thanks to reader Geannette W. for her recommendation to make this listing more user friendly!

Every day:

• Charlie Parker's. Kids age 3 and under eat FREE with a paid adult.  Meals include fries, applesauce and small beverage.  Breakfast served all day.  Don't miss the Giant pancake! 700 North Street, Springfield.  217-241-2104.

• Pizza Hut. Tuesday from 5:00- 7:30 p.m. the buffet is free for kids 10 & under with adult buffet purchase. Offer should apply at all Springfield locations with dine-in buffet.  Pizza Hut lunch buffet on Chatham Road has kids eat free & on Wednesday and Thursday it is $0.99 off for adults making it $5.50.
