Indian Hills Park is north of Sangamon Avenue and east of the State Fairgrounds. This 9-acre park is situated in the center of a residential neighborhood. Along the park’s east side is a drainage way and wooded thicket. On the northwest side is Miami Trail, a residential street that provides vehicular and pedestrian access to the park.
This neighborhood park has several facilities. A ball diamond with dugouts, bleachers and a scoreboard is centrally located in the park. On the park’s north end are two tennis courts and some shade trees. On the south end is a picnic shelter, playground and open space.
A parking lot for about 20 cars is located off Miami Trail.
