Here is a fun and easy way to enjoy some simple gardening with your kiddos. 
Materials:
- Baby Food Jar
- Googly Eyes
- Grass Seed
- Dirt
- Water
- red yarn or pipe cleaner
Plant the Grass Seed and glue the eyes and mouth on the Jar. Name your creation. For older children, ask them to make a hypothesis as to when the grass will start to grow. Create a chart that documents watering and growth. When the grass grows to give it a “haircut”.
