Do you know if your child is eligible to receive subsidized preschool through District #186 Early Start program? District #186 offers free assessments to determine if your child is meeting the current criterion for his/her age bracket. A screening such as this can provide wonderful feedback for parents regarding speech and language skills, hearing, hand/eye coordination, social skills, etc.
Children can qualify for Early Start regardless of race, income level or family status.

The building, located at 2501 S. First Street is equipped to help three, four and five-year olds successfully begin their journey to becoming life long learners. Classes are half days and door to door transportation is provided. The curriculum is play based and the heated floors will keep little ones warm in the winter!
