Safe Family Saturday May 2, 2009
This annual event at Southern View Park provided more than 1,000 FREE bicycle helmets properly sized for each child. Families enjoyed a variety of child safety activities and games as well. The kids had fun with Smokey the Bear, the safety fire house, Saints Flight Helicopter, the search and rescue dogs and much more!
The sun even came out for the event! It was a beautiful day to be out. Sponsored by the American Red Cross, St. John’s Children’s Hospital, FitClub, Pepsi and WalMart.
