Recently, I called in a favor from my friend who works at The Corkscrew to gather a bunch of corks they didn’t need. I wanted to use them in a decanter for decorative purposes at home. He gave me a huge bag of them, so I let my girls dump them out on the floor and play with them.
First they were reading them and asking about all of the different countries, unique names, funny or silly images (some with website URLs or phone numbers) and overall choosing their favorites. They each saved about 15 of their own personal favorites. Then, they moved on to setting up a huge cork village! Complete with a cork factory, store and hotel.
If these corks make you want to go a wine tasting, don’t forget the FREE tasting coupon at The Corkscrew!
