I am constantly in awe of how kids bring such a fresh perspective to everything they see and do!
For example, the excitement for all things related to animals, flowers, worms, roly poly bugs…they see and notice all of the details that adults are just too busy to absorb or appreciate.
Exhibit A, my high heel shoe.
My daughters LOVE to raid my shoe organizer and clomp around in my high heels anytime of day…with purses on their shoulder and clipboards or notebooks in the other hand. But recently one high heel was missing, and I found it neatly displayed just like this photo.
It had been transformed into a Polly Pocket house! Now, that is clever. Who wouldn’t want to live in a fushia suede home with a high instep?
A reminder once again, not to judge a book by its cover and to keep an open mind on fresh perspective on everything around us!
