The YMCA of Springfield is launching membership sales for their new downtown facility which is scheduled to open on December 1, 2020. For a limited time, members of the Springfield community and surrounding areas can join for $0. Registration is available online through the YMCA
website at springfieldymca.org/join-the-ymca or at either branch location.
The new facility will be situated in the Enos Park Neighborhood and will bring better health and a greater sense of community to the city of Springfield. This community resource and gathering place will feature several amenities which will include: aquatic center with 8 lap lanes and recreational pool, gymnastics center, spacious lobby with café, community center, youth center, youth activity center, youth tutoring area, youth gymnasium (1/2 court), child watch services with an infant toddler room, men & women’s health centers, men and women’s locker rooms, private family changing rooms, 3 group exercise studios, a high performance workout area, full court basketball gymnasium, wellness floor, cardio area, free-weight area, indoor track, 2 racquetball courts, and a dedicated cycling room.
