Pasta Necklaces

Ingredients: 1 pound of uncooked pasta (penne or wheels); 1 TBS of rubbing alcohol; Several Drops of food coloring
- Put the pasta in a ziplock bag.
- Add the alcohol and food coloring.
- Shake the bag until the pasta is covered.
- Lay the pasta out on wax paper until dry.
- Using yarn, string the pasta to make a necklace.

Ingredients: 1 pound of uncooked pasta (penne or wheels); 1/3 cup of non-toxic tempra paint ;Glitter – optional
- Place pasta in a large mixing bowl.
- Add paint. Stir. If a more intense color is desired, add a TBS of paint until the color is achieved.
- Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Spread the pasta on the sheet and sprinkle with glitter.
- Bake in a 200 degree oven for 5-10 minutes, or until dry.
- Place the pasta in a bowl, and gently stir with your hands, breaking apart and pasta that is sticking together.
- Continue until the pasta is cool.
- Using yarn, string the pasta to make a necklace.
