The India Association of Greater Springfield (IAGS) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization formed with the primary purpose of serving the cultural and social needs of the Greater Springfield Indian community.
The main focus of IAGS is to provide a common identity for the Indian community through promotion of unity, friendship and goodwill. IAGS strives to be the common meeting ground for people of Indian origin as well as those who are interested in identifying with people from India.
A number of events are organized to celebrate the rich culture of India including:
- Holi
- Indian Independence Day
- Diwali
- Christmas
IAGS welcomes members of the community to enthusiastically participate in the activities of IAGS to build strong relationships within the community.
