Location: The park is bounded by Wilcox School on the north and includes Veteran’s Memorial Pool (formerly the private Suburban Aquatic Club).

Sports Facilities: Gietl Park has 3 ball diamonds with fenced outfields. The soccer field in the northwest corner of the park occupies both park and school land. The park is accessible from surrounding neighborhoods. One narrow sidewalk runs the length of the park along Stanhope Road.
