For parents who must have a Cesarean delivery or who are planning to have a repeat C-Section. Reasons for surgery, the surgery itself, pain relief, recovery process and support at home are discussed. 
Pre-registration is required.  The class is free for expectant parents delivering at St. John’s. For expectant parents delivering at a different hospital there is a fee. You may register online or call the Personal Birth Consultant at 744-2229 or 800-392-6587 to register for this class. 
This class is taught by a registered nurse from the Women and InfantsCenter.

Class will be held in Conference room Q on the 2nd floor of the Carol Jo Vecchie Women and Children’s Center. Parking is available in the ramp at 9th and Carpenter Street.  Please enter through Carol Jo Vecchie main lobby.
