The oldest house in Springfield, built in 1837 — Abraham Lincoln was a frequent visitor. The Farrell and Ann Gay Museum of Springfield History is located in the house’s lower level, which exhibits wrist watches, pocket watches and clocks manufactured by the former Illinois Watch Company.
