1/2 pound butter (2 sticks)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. water
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla, flour and water. Blend well.
Note the dough will be crumbly, but you can form into balls. We roll into colored sugar first, and gently flatten with a glass.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until light brown. Yummy!
