The City of Springfield’s Earth Awareness Fair is a FREE, community-based celebration held on the grounds of the Old State Capitol Saturday, April 27 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Food, music, workshops, animals, kids’ activities, and over 40 exhibitors that spread environmental awareness and help bring the community together. There will also be a “Plastic Planet” themed art exhibit on the grounds of the Old State Capitol and an Earth Day themed art exhibit at the new Visitors Bureau off 6th St.
Two lucky SpMoms winners will receive care packages. Enter by posting a comment here or on our facebook page post by April 25th at 5:00pm on your favorite best practice for honoring and preserving our Earth’s resources. Winner will be notified Thursday evening and can pick up their prize Friday April 26th from the City of Springfield office.
* For individuals who are deaf and/or hard of hearing, there will be translators at scheduled workshops.
