Chocolate Pudding Crockpot Cake
1 package chocolate instant pudding mix
3 cups milk
1 chocolate cake mix + all ingredients to make it
semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Mix pudding mix and milk in the bottom of a crock pot sprayed with cooking spray, beat for about 2 minutes.
- Make cake mix per the instructions on the box, pour batter into crock pot over the pudding mixture.
- Cook 3.5 hours on low or 1.5-2 hours on high.
- When cake is done (check with a toothpick), let it set, lid off, for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and let them melt a little.
You may top it with cool whip or ice cream.
The cake/pudding mixes are endless. Try a white cake mix with white chocolate pudding, red velvet cake mix with white chocolate pudding, carrot cake with cream cheese pudding, etc…

I have made this cake so many times and it comes out great. I never have any left overs. I have tried different cake mixes and different pudding flavors. I even make it with sugar free cake and pudding and lactose free milk. Has always came out super. I just love this easy recipe. I often have requests for it.
