April 30-May 6, 2018 is Children’s Book Week. This year’s theme is “One World, Many Stories” — here are our suggestions for how to celebrate!
- Plan a Family Reading Night where everybody has an hour to snuggle up and read.
- Read the special Children’s Book Week comic – download or read online by clicking here.
- Schedule a family trip to the library and challenge everybody to find a book of stories, then head home and read aloud.
- Visit the Children’s Book Council website. They have book suggestions by age of your child, news about literacy, and more. www.cbcbooks.org
- And of course, our Book Nook resources are always there for you, offering book suggestions and ideas for how to help instill in your children a love of reading.
