Growing up, it was a Sunday morning tradition to read the comics, and Peanuts was a must-read. Their holiday television shows were another don’t miss item (back when you had to watch it LIVE or you missed it…LOL). I loved my Snoopy stuffed animal and asked for new outfits for him for Christmas.
The cast of Peanuts characters represent the childhood characteristics in all of us. I relate best to Snoopy because he is such an independent thinker, loves to do his own thing and to laugh as much as possible!

This quote will always make me smile. I know my daughters are learning to be independent thinkers and are not afraid to question the why and the how and to explore new ways of doing things. Being open to change and being honest with yourself is a lifelong skill; know who you are as you ebb and flow in and out of all stages of life.
To top it all off, we adopted a beagle recently so we have our own version of Snoopy around here to remind how important it is to be yourself!
