The picture of this soup brightened our facebook feed and instantly made us more cozy at home. Luckily Springfield Mom Amy Budinger gave us permission to share her recipe.

Set crockpot to 6 hours (I have a huge crockpot.) I put the chicken legs in a colander and removed the bones after 6 hours, then place loose chicken back in the crockpot. Finally, add one bag wide “hearty” Yoder’s Egg Noodles 1/2 hour before serving.
6 chicken legs
6 cups chicken stock
2 cups water
2 chicken boulliun cubes
3 carrots chopped
1 medium onion chopped
3 carrots chopped
3 celery ribs chopped
1 garlic clove finely chopped
Poultry seasoning 1 tsp
Red pepper flakes 1tsp
2 tbsp ground pepper
1tsp salt
1tsp coriander
1 bag Yoder’s or other Hearty Egg Noodles
Drop heat to low setting after noodles are in to keep them from getting mushy. There you have it!
