My sister shared a recipe that we launched on New Year’s Eve for a trial run, and it was a hit!
A crowd pleaser you can serve with pita chips or sturdy tortilla chips.
Ingredients:
1 pound sage sausage (the sage flavoring makes a difference!)
2 eight ounce softened cream cheese (we use the 1/3 less fat and don’t notice any change in richness)
1 jar or more if you prefer more of peach salsa (our family favorite is Newman’s own which is usually $2.30 at Schnucks)
Cook the sausage and drain the fat
In a bowl combine and stir in cream cheese and salsa. Transfer to 9 X 13 pan and bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Eat while warm!
