Looking for new activities to keep your kids active and entertained?

Check out Springfield YMCA’s PlayBook. It’s the guide to new activities and events for every age.

In the PlayBook you’ll find swim, gymnastics and tennis lessons, all now with monthly session sign-up. You’ll find new activities like Sports Sampler focusing on play across several different sports so kids experience a variety and find what they enjoy most.

Check out offerings like Book & Cook, with no-bake cooking activities combined with a theme book, and Artist’s Studio, along with Music & Movement which uses music and dance for entertainment and exercise. These are some of the classes for younger kids to explore cooking, creativity, art basics, music, and exercise. Many of those classes including Sports Sampler are free to Y Members. The Y PlayBook also lists the popular Y league sports like soccer, basketball, baseball and T-Ball and lists adult and older adult activities like Red Ball Tennis, a moderate, indoor tennis lesson and match play every week, as well as adult swim lessons and personal training options.

The Y PlayBook is available online and at the Y Front Desk and will be your source for new activities every quarter.

We’ve completely redesigned our Summer Camps, themes, events and activities to make sure your kids have a Summer of Smiles. The Camp catalog list all the camps including Adventure, Specialty, Kinder, Camp Wa-Kon-Tah lake camp, Gymnastics, Soccer.

You’ll also find new transportation options and camp add-on’s like tennis and swimming lessons.
