Location: the Old Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Join American Hauntings for an exclusive investigation of what was once Jacksonville’s best-known funeral home — where spirits of the past still linger! Not for the faint of heart; flashlights required. 7 pm to 1 am.

217 Terror

Location: Located west of Springfield (and south of Jacksonville), about a one-hour drive
Admission: $15, $5 more for fast pass
Scare Factor: Can be very scary, not recommended for younger children

Slaughterhouse Washington

Location: About 1 hour north of Springfield, east of Peoria in Washington
Admission: $20 haunt, $15 hayride
Scare Factor: Recommended for ages 13 and older
This attraction is located on a large farm outside of Washington, IL. Haunted house consists of multiple buildings. Hayride takes you throughout the property, additional fee applies. Necrosis Haunted House

Scare Factor: Not recommended for younger children who may scare easily (monsters will walk throughout the park trying to scare guests)
