Planes, Trains and Automobiles – Travel, Family Style

We’ve all heard it — and years ago, we all said it — over and over again.  “Are we there yet?!” The theme song of summer travel.

I enjoyed Julie Kaiser’s column for the SJR a couple of weekends ago about her family’s trip to Texas in May.  She writes about navigating the airlines and their luggage rules and then surviving a rental car trip with the kids tussling in the back and the GPS talking at them.  (Read her column here.)

Travel is high on your list of priorities as well according to our annual reader survey.  We’ve got a number of helpful destination resources as well as Sanity Savers for traveling with the little ones.  Check out the links below and best wishes for smooth sailing on your journeys this summer!
