Ah well! My kids are pretty used to my silly requests from time to time. Last night it was our trek to the new Wendy’s in Parkway Point to eat our favorite chicken sandwich and pose with Wendy and the dancing Frosty! Here’s the exchange:
My kids: “Mom, I’m not going to pose with her!”
Me: “Come on guys! This will be a fun photo to have! When you are teenagers, I can show your homecoming dates!”
My kids: “Mom! Stop! We don’t want to.”
Me: “Okay, well how about I pay you each 50 cents to get in there!”
My kids: “Yeah! Sure!”
And that’s how this 100 % weird mom (as they like to call me) got the picture she wanted for her scrapbook!
