Westminster Co-op Preschool is a program accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Co-op provides developmentally appropriate activities through a combination of free choice play and structured learning. Curriculum goals are based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards and cover all areas of a child's development. Ongoing assessments are done to keep track of each child's development. Parents participate in the classroom alongside the teacher on a monthly basis. Several family events are also offered throughout the school year.
2 1/2 – 3 year olds: Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-11:30 am
3-4 year olds: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-11:30 am
4 1/2 – 5 year olds: Monday-Thursday 12:30-3:00 pm
Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be done by lottery for all applications received by March 1st, 2012.
