She says: "This is a website dedicated to inspiring others to reach out in their community and offer a helping hand. We will help you find local and national organizations to support by giving them the most precious gift we all possess, time and talent. How many times have you said, 'I wish I could be more involved.' Well now you can.
Whyvolunteer.org is a great place to start your journey. Whether it be a cause close to your heart or a passion for helping others, we have all the tools you need to get started. There are no hourly requirements. You volunteer when and where you choose to. Come along while Whyvolunteer.org gets you started on the journey of a lifetime."
The "Why Volunteer?" website offers opportunities both locally and nationally for families to step up and help with everything from Haitian relief to Habitat for Humanity to Meals on Wheels.
