Slow Cooker Seven Hour Beef Stew

2 1bs. stew meat
4-6 slice carrots
4-6 cut up potatoes
1 cup diced celery
1-2 medium chopped onions (I cut this back cause my kids hate onion)
5 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt

3/4 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp sugar
1 46 oz can V-8 or tomato juice

Mix first 5 ingredients. Pour into pan with lid and sprinkle last 4 ingredients over top. Pour can of V-8 over mixture Bake at 250 for 7 hours. Do not stir or raise lid. (I have put this in my crock pot on low for 7-8 hours. It is a great hearty stew.)
