Readers Respond With Their Favorite St. Louis Family Activities

Fun in St. Louismini-travel-fun

We asked our Springfield Moms Facebook readers to post their favorite St. Louis family activities. Here’s a sampling of their responses.

  • “The Butterfly House, The Dog Museum and SHOPPING! There are girl/tween shops at Plaza Frontenac, The Galleria, Chesterfield Mall, and Westfield Mall.” Julie S.
  • “The Magic House!” magichouse.org – Carrie B.
  • “There’s a place we LOVE going to called Yucandu and it’s a make-your-own art place. It’s very cool, not anything like what we have in Springpatch. Their site is www.yucandu.com. You can paint paper mache items, decoupage and they have all sorts of things to embellish with – broken plates, mosaics, paint, jewels, paper from old reference books, etc. City Museum is always a fun spot for families. Cheesecake Factory at Chesterfield Mall or St. Louis Galleria. Fitz’s (great restaurant where they bottle root beer) in The Loop area. There’s also a place I think in Chesterfield which is like one HUGE trampoline…..you go and pay and then just jump your heart out. I haven’t been there but have heard about it.” Kari T.
  • “Foundry Art Center, The Mills Mall, Science Center and Union Station.” Teresa T.
  • “We have been to Yucandu as well, and it is awesome!! If I had the money, I would start one here!!” Linda S.
