AAUW Used Book Sale
On Friday Sept. 28 (3-7pm) and Saturday Sept. 29 (8:30-1pm) at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 533 S. Walnut St., Springfield, the American Association of University Women will offer books, DVDs, CDs, etc. for purchase. Many items are suitable for children and make great gifts. Proceeds from the sale are used to fund scholarships for women at UIS, LLCC, St. John's Nursing College and AAUW American Fellowships.
Anyone wishing to donate items can bring them to Sentinel Insect Control, 1001 S. Ninth St. from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and 8am-4pm Saturday anytime prior to the sale. Anyone unable to deliver books should call 652-8730 or email booksale@juno.com to arrange for pickup.
