Are you looking for a way to play and learn with your young child? If so, then Playful Learners is just for you! Each class is designed specifically for you and your child to learn and play together.

Each one-hour class begins with group time where children and adult partners play and interact with each other, sing and dance to music, and listen to a story or participate in finger plays. From there, the class will break up for center time which includes age-appropriate hands-on activities, exploration stations for fine motor skill development, and movement activities targeting gross motor skills around a central theme. Hopping, crawling, twirling and dancing… it’s all in the curriculum at the CDM!

Cost: Playful Learner I (ages 12-24 months): $6 member/$10 non-member; Playful Learner II (24-36 months): $7 member/$11 non-member;  Playful Learner III (ages 3-4): $8 member/$12 non-member; Additional Adults $4

Summer Adventure

Join us as we decorate flower pots and plant flowers, play with sidewalk chalk, blow bubbles and more!

Take Me to the Beach

Put on your sunglasses and join us as we decorate mini beach bags, create sand art, and play in the sand with beach balls!

Five Little Monkeys

We’ll read Five Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree by Eileen Christelow, create a monkey craft and have a pretend picnic.
