Pepperoncini Beef





Thank you to Kari Thevenot for submitting this recipe from Don’t let the ingredients fool you – the final product is not really spicy, but full of great flavor. Prep time for this recipe is less than 10 minutes.


  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 4 cloves of garlic, sliced (or used minced garlic from a jar)
  • 1 16-ounce jar of pepperoncini

Make small cuts in the roast with a knife, and insert the garlic. Place roast in slow cooker and pour the entire contents of the jar of pepperoncini, including liquid, over the meat. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Shred meat with a fork and serve on hoagie rolls. Can also serve topped with mozzarella or provolone cheese on top.
