Surveying is the story of us. Through dynamic stories, murals and original surveying equipment, visitors will learn the role surveying had in developing America and the American saga. The surveying careers of Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln are resurrected.
One of the highlights of the museum is its Science on a Sphere, a world class exhibit. Science on a Sphere is an animated 68-inch globe that hangs from the ceiling and displays beautiful, detailed, dynamic images of the Earth's atmosphere, oceans, weather and our solar system. Developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), this exhibit can be customized for groups.
