A holiday event featuring decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces; a gingerbread cookie bakery and handcrafted village; an entertainment stage; a holiday gift boutique; photos with Santa; and a craft area and mini train for children, to raise funds for Memorial Medical Center.
History: Memorial’s Festival of Trees started in 1989 as an event to benefit the healthcare programs offered by Memorial Medical Center. Since then, the Festival has raised nearly $3 million dollars for healthcare and has become the single largest family-oriented holiday tradition in central Illinois.
Each year, hundreds of talented local designers and volunteers transform the Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield into a winter wonderland of exquisitely decorated showcases, trees, wreaths and swags.

Seniors age 65 and over will receive a reduced admission price of $3.00 on Senior Day, Tuesday, November 26 only. Saluting Our Heroes Day – $3 admission on November 27 for members of the Armed Forces, National Guard, and area police, fire and emergency responders
