Sunday Dinner on Main Street (Governor Oglesby Street) in Elkhart.
This is an Elkhart function, open to all residents and friends of the community. It gives us all a chance to meet anyone new, and catch up with old friends.
The menu is Ribeye Steaks, Mashed potatoes and Gravy, Green beans or Corn, Rolls and a drink. All you need to bring (besides yourselves) is a dessert to pass. The occasion is Memorial Day, and we intend to honor our veterans…be it your father, mother, brother, uncle, aunt, sister…..grandfather…or even Great Grandfather.
In order to have enough steak, we need to know who is coming. The Elkhart Christian Church has been kind enough to offer this reservation service.
The 1:00 lunch will be held on the street in front of the Doughboy Statue in our Veteran’s Park, and the Memorial Day Service complete with the
community choir will follow the meal.
Please be a part of what makes Elkhart Special by calling 217 947 2726 by May 24,and leave your name and the number of people coming with you on the answering machine.
