- Springfield Moms reader and contributor Holly Schurter offered this book recommendation: "Right now I'm reading "My Life in France" by Julia Child — a fun read about how she came to write "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" and start a television show. She's funny and fascinating and makes me want to take up French cuisine — or at least find a great bakery! I am so looking forward to seeing Meryl Streep play Julia Child in Julie and Julia (I think that's the movie's title) later this summer!"
