These are beautiful days to call central Illinois home. Cool nights, warm temperatures during the day, brilliant blue sky and lots of big tractors to point out to little ones as the farmers harvest their fields. (Of course, there's lots to sneeze at as well, but we won't get into allergies!)
Find time to visit these outdoor treasures — some familiar, others off the beaten path. You won't regret the time spent to stop and watch leaves falling lazily off the trees, acorns discovered by your kids or just a chance to catch your breath and marvel at the season.
