Everyone loves food on a stick, right? You can make your own ice cream pops at home! In addition to being fun to eat, it is also a great way to control your portions.
For this recipe, you will need:
- Ice cream (a harder variety will work better)
- Wooden craft spoons or popsicle sticks
- Sprinkles of choice – color sprinkles, toasted coconut, crushed nuts, candy pieces or sugar
- Napkins or wipes to clean faces afterwards!
Simply take an ice cream scoop and lay the scoops on a piece of parchment paper.
Insert the sticks and place the ice cream pops into the freezer and chill until hardened.
Roll the scoops into the sprinkles.
Store in the freezer or serve! Enjoy and have fun.
