Master Gardeners of the University of Illinois Extension Sangamon-Menard Unit will hold an “Herb Plant Sale” on Saturday, May 7, 8:30 to 11 am. The event will be held in the upper level of the U of I Extension Building #30, Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield.
A variety of herbs will be offered including: 7 different kinds of Basil, Curly and Flat Leaf Parsley, five varieties of Thyme (Elfin, Variegated Lemon Golden, Caraway, and Orange), Mexican Bush Sage, and four varieties of scented geranium (Lemon Crispum, Variegated Nutmeg, Ginger, and Chocolate Mint).
Plants will be priced from $2 to $5.
