Music at the Museum Series
Thursday, March 12, 7 pm at the Illinois State Museum’s Auditorium

Fee: $15 adults, $12 Museum members and children under 12

Panamanian/Colombian duo “Calle Sur” performs a broad range of Latin musical traditions, from “joropo” and “cumbia” to “samba” and “punto.” Tight harmonies and instrumental precision mixed with energy and beauty, woven together with interesting stories and humor. A dynamic mix of acoustic flavors from Latin America.

Music at the Museum is a monthly concert series produced by Chris Vallillo featuring the best in contemporary and traditional folk and acoustic music of all styles. Concerts are held the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Museum auditorium. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at intermission.
