Downtown Springfield Inc. and Hilton-Springfield Host 1st Public Event in Pinnacle Club
Invites All Springfield Residents and Businesses to Attend Get Connected Membership Drive
SPRINGFIELD, IL-Downtown Springfield, Inc. (DSI) is partnering with Springfield Hilton to host the 1st public outreach event in the new Pinnacle Club located on the 30th floor of the hotel. The Get Connected Membership Drive will take place on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. in Hilton Springfield’s Pinnacle Club at 700 East Adams Street.
Admission to the event is free, open to the public and will include appetizers, cash bar, an exceptional social atmosphere and breathtaking views of downtown Springfield.
“We are extremely excited to partner with Hilton Springfield to provide an unforgettable forum and location connecting Springfield business leaders with residents, detailing and illustrating the many benefits of Downtown Springfield Inc. membership and boosting awareness of this landmark hotel,” said DSI Executive Director Victoria Clemons. “Hilton Springfield’s Pinnacle Club exemplifies an ingenious, innovative and premier setting to host an impactful public outreach event in the heart of the capital city. We want to encourage all Springfielders to take advantage of this free opportunity to simultaneously learn about DSI membership, tour the Pinnacle Club and increase your network today.”
Annual individual membership is only $25 and can be made via check or cash onsite. Organizational membership fees vary depending on the size of the business. Organization and individual membership is open to anyone with an interest in preservation-based downtown revitalization. DSI currently has more than 200 members and the organization is continuing to grow. DSI Membership staff will also be on-hand to provide informative materials and answer questions as needed.
