As we enter the long holiday weekend, there is much to celebrate in the great country we live, but the past few weeks I was reminded how precious life is.
There is nothing more important to a parent than the health and happiness of our children.
Hands down, we will do anything for them and our unconditional love runs strong. My best friend's son is recovering from a very critical condition that had all of us on edge the past two weeks. He has been fighting every day to come back.
Patience is a virtue, however, and through the love of family, friends the good nature of others and an outstanding medical team, he has turned the corner. The prayers, positive healing energy, and love from so many who adore him and many who don't know him, have given this amazing child another chance.
As you celebrate with your family, hug them closer, tell them why you love them, and embrace the memories at hand.
Treasure your family…they are your true success story. Happy 4th to all.
