  • Apple Barn – Located at 2290 E. Walnut in Chatham. Come check out the Apple Barn from Thanksgiving to Christmas for an assortment of specialty Christmas items – trees of various size, wreaths, roping, as well as poinsettias. Hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. www.applebarn.net
  • Bomke’s Patch – located at 605 Country Lake Road, west of Springfield off of Farmingdale Road. Open November 27 – December 20. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. This farm has been around for several decades. Visitors can select from several varieties and sizes of fir trees and may cut their own. www.bomkespatch.com
  • Cassen’s Christmas Tree Farm – Opening Nov. 25th 1511 Falcon Road, Springfield. Open weekends until Christmas, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am – 5pm. This family tree farm has been open for four years. They started planting trees over ten years ago. There’s white pine, scotch pine, douglas fir, con color fir, canaan, noble and frazer firs in choose and cut and pre-cut.   • Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch – Located in Rantoul, IL. Phone 217-893-3407. Website is www.reindeerranch.com. Cut yoJake Laura Christmas tree[1]ur own, or pick from already cut trees. Wreaths, evergreen boughs, hayrides, old fashioned shop, and Alaskan Reindeer. Closed Mondays Tues-Sun 10am -7Pm

  • Lake Springfield Christian Assembly: 1674 Lick Creek Ln, Chatham.  Nov. 24 – Dec. 10; while supplies last.  Scotch Pines and Fraser Firs available. In addition to the trees, there will be a bonfire, cookies, cocoa & hay rack rides (during designated hours) available for your family to have a fun experience at camp while selecting your Christmas tree.
