    • Festival or Lights in East Peoria Nov 23-Dec 31. We’ve had several SpMoms readers say this is well worth the drive!  Folepi’s Winter Wonderland strives for people to not have to wait too long in line to see the display. When possible, they encourage people to come to the display on Sunday through Thursday as wait times those nights are usually significantly less than on weekends. Traffic on Friday and Saturday nights is much higher. If you can come to the display only on Friday or Saturday night, please expect that there will be a line. http://www.cityofeastpeoria.com/festival-of-lights/

Downtown Springfield IL Charm

  • Downtown Springfield has wrapped most all street lamps in white lights this year, the Old State Capitol tree, and of course the State Capitol lights are beautiful. Don’t miss the Downtown Springfield Holiday Walks every Wednesday and Saturday and the SMTD bus covered in lights!
